The first signs of serious modelling on the layout are the first buildings.
All these are scrach-built, mostly using plasticard over a card inner structure. All are closely based on actual buildings,

This is the Railway Goods Offices. The most substantial of the railway buildings. The wall to the right is now the only remaining trace of the station still standing. |

This engineering works, a slightly reduced version of the building still standing on the corner of Cannon Street and Caroline Street will fill the rear corner of the layout. |
